I get an error showing I have used all my websites, but I haven't

If you receive an error message indicating that you have used the maximum number of websites allowed on your account, but you haven’t added the number of domains your plan permits, it is typically due to one of three reasons:

You downgraded your plan: If you downgraded your plan, you likely exceeded the limit because your new plan allows fewer websites than before.

You upgraded your plan: If you upgraded your plan and are still getting the error message, something may have gone wrong during the upgrade, and your account wasn’t updated properly. Contact us via chat.

You added competitors: In most cases, the issue arises because users have used all their website credits, not solely on their own domains but also on competitors.

Each competitor added uses 0.5 website credit and is not a "free" credit. Credits can be replaced whenever you like by removing one competitor to add another. Removing 2 competitors will free up 1 credit you can use to add 2 other competitors or one additional own websites.

Your own domains use 1 website credit.

For example, if your plan allows 10 website credits, you could add 5 of your own websites and 10 competitors, 2 of your own websites and 16 competitors, or 8 of your own websites and 4 competitors.
