# Why doesn't my new link show up in the tool?

It takes a while for Morningscore's [backlink tool](https://morningscore.io/backlink-checker/) to be able to automatically detect a new link, but there is a way to speed up the process. 

1. Log in to your Morningscore account
2. Go to the **Links** section
3. Click on the  **New / lost links** tab
4. Click on **Scan for new links**
5. Copy your link and paste it into the search bar
6. Click on **Scan**
7. Wait for your link to appear
