# Is my Linkscore good or bad?

The best way to figure out if your Linkscore is good or bad is to **compare it to one of your competitors** or a business similar to your size and industry.

# However, here are some general numbers to support the big picture:

* Linkscores of the best websites in the world are typically **around 250,000 and higher**.
* A very few websites are even in the millions.
* Linkscores of most regular businesses **average between 500 and 5,000**.
* As a rule of thumb, if your **own Linkscore is lower than 2,000**, there's probably good sense in **working on improving it**. If you do so, your keyword positions are very likely to improve just like your Morningscore can be expected to increase - provided, of course, that you do it right according to the guidelines you get from our tool.
