# How to set custom date ranges for reports

If you want to monitor something over a period of time that doesn't match the dates we have set as a standard, you can set a custom date range.

1. Log in to your Morningscore account

2. Go to [REPORTS ](https://morningscore.io/seo-report/)in the top menu

3. Click **New Report**

4. Choose a report template

5. Click the field below **Period**

6. Use the calendar to set a start date on the left and the one on the right to set the end date of any given time period
