# How can I view the history of individual keywords on Google?

1. Select the **Tracking **section and check whether you are in the [Google Rank Tracker](https://morningscore.io/rank-tracker/) section
2. Click on the **three dots** in the list of all keywords in the column **List**
3. Here you have various options. In this case you should select the option **keyword history**
4. If you wish to change the period you see the history of, then click on the **date range** in the top right corner before clicking on **keyword history**

With the **keyword history** function you can get an overview of how your rank on a specific keyword has changed. This can help by giving you an idea of how your SEO has evolved through time, as well as see the degree of competition on a given keyword.
